“What Is Wednesday”

This weeks ‘What is it Wednesday” features a screen shot we took while fishing on the Niagara River in New York. We were able to identify two large fish in an area known to produce bass. Once we had identified the targets we were able to catch them using small swimbaits and light line. The CHIRP  Downvision allows you to see the real world  under your boat in a photo like image.

Although the fish were not the smallmouth bass we were expecting, the giant White Bass were fun to catch.

Screen Shot 2016-05-11 at 7.59.35 PMThis is an unofficial IGFA World Record (length record) 18 inch White Bass… We saw it, then we caught it!
