PARIS, KY – Reining FLW Tour Angler of the Year Andy Morgan and FLW Tour standout Cody Meyer have extended their AOY showdown to the third day of the FLW Tour event on Kentucky Lake. By both making the Top 20 cut the AOY title will not be secured until the end of the day three weigh in on Saturday.
Morgan, who sits in 9th place currently with 42 pounds, 10 ounces after the initial two days of the event. Meyer, who needs to finish this event eight spots ahead of Morgan to capture.the title and the $100,000 prize, currently sits in 17th place with 40 pounds, 2 ounces through the two days.
No matter which angler takes home the title both will break the all time FLW single season points record. The title would be Morgan’s second consecutive and second total AOY. For Meyer it would be his first AOY title.
