Jon Cox held on to his lead on day two of the Forrest Wood Cup after weighing in a five bass limit that weighed 15-10 lbs (32-5). Jacob Wheeler jumped to second place with with five bass that tipped the scales at 17-9lbs (24-14), but the story of the day had to be JT Kenney. Kenney weighed in a single bass on day one that weighed less than two pounds. Kenney will be fishing on Saturday after weighing in the heaviest limit of the tournament so far: five bass that rocked the scales at 19-2 (20-13) Brandon McMillan was the last angler in the cut with a two day total of 20-7lbs. 1-3 pounds separates tenth and 20th place, Saturday’s weigh in should be an interesting one.
