Chapman Battles Upstate New York Angler in Episode 8

Episode Eight of Pro vs. Joe, presented by Realtree Outdoors, Elite Series pro Brent Chapman takes on Upstate New York angler Greg Bent on Conesus Lake. The glacier created lake is the westernmost of New York’s popular fisheries referred to as the Finger Lakes. The lake is located in Livingston County, 86 miles east of Buffalo and 30 miles south of Rochester, New York.  The narrow eight mile long lake runs south to north, and is home to both smallmouth and largemouth bass along with numerous other fish species including panfish. Northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, bluegills, pumpkinseed and brown bullhead

The 38 year old Bent, a resident of West Webster, New York, was among the first to challenge Chapman via the ProvsJoe.com website last June when the show was originally announced. Chapman, who won his 2012 Angler of the Year Title on Lake Oneida, a few hours east was excited about the challenge, “I love fishing in New York, and I was excited to see what another Finger Lake has to offer. Greg is a good guy and Conesus is a beautiful place. We ran into some tough fishing conditions and heavy boat traffic, but we had a lot of fun out there.”

The duo made the most of the tough fishing conditions and heavy boat traffic and battled to the last cast. Did Bent have what it takes to beat the Elite Series Champion, watch the show and find out now.
