This week’s feature is the Strike King Magnum Caffeine Shad.
This is one of my favorite baits to throw during the spawn and post spawn periods. I’ll cast to areas where I think fish are spawning, guarding frye, or around bream beds and I really like to dead stick the bait. My favorite colors are watermelon red and green pumpkin. The only modification is sometimes I’ll dye about 1/4 of the tail chartreuse.
My recommended setup is a Power Tackle 7ft PG144, 20lb Seaguar Invizx, a Shimano Curado 7.2:1, and a 7/0 Owner wide gap plus hook. Good Fishing Keith Combs
